ABOUT NAVYUG COLLEGE FOR EDUCATION

Navyug College for Education, Sonipat was established in 2007, run by the S.S.Memorial Siksha Samiti,Sonipat (Hr). The trust commenced its educational activity with the objective to provide a passion for academic excellence and effective learning. This college is affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak and approved by National Council For Teaching Education, Jaipur. This college is not assure only quality productivity and efficiency but also provide a healthy environment. We strongly believed in the values of dedication, discipline, brotherhood, dignity of labour and punctuality. Here, the educational aims at relationship and commitment towards society. The institute prepares the future teacher to meet the needs of emerging, competitive global world of today. The atmosphere is conducive to overall development of the student in and outside the classroom time. The institute is running D.Ed and B.Ed course with an intake of 50 and 100 students respectively.

OBJECTIVES

In order to achieve the institutional goal, the objectives of the institution are:

• To inculcate value systems such as brotherhood, social justice, dignity of labour and patriotism in student-teacher.
• To provide opportunities to enhance their self concept and gain self confidence.
• To integrate the ICT’s in teaching learning.
• To foster unity irrespective of their socio-economic and cultural disparities.
• To develop their creative self expression.
• To help the student teacher become integrated person through harmonious development of physical, intellectual, emotional, social, moral and spiritual powers.
• To produce committed, competent, creative, compassionate and conscientious, human engineers as men and women for others.
• To fascilitate them to interact and work together, and thus to develop Gender sensitivity.
