A number of regional & national level of seminars, workshops and extension lectures are organized from time to time to give a wider perspective of the innovations and development taking place in different fields to the students as well as teachers. They enlighten and enrich the mind and open new avenues of thought and research in different fields as they provide an opportunity to interact and learn from veterans of the educational community. National Seminar on "Curricular Concerns for Quality in Teacher Education" was organized by Research and Develpoment Committee under IQAC on 3rd March 2023.This national seminar dealt with the challenges ahead in teacher education, teaching, quality research and policies. It even emphasized on curriculum development for quality education, professional preparation of teachers for inclusive education and evaluating implementation of curriculum in teacher education.
Extension Lecture on "Philosophical Perspective of Climate change" was organized by Research and Develpoment Committee under IQAC on 25th Sept 2024.The key speaker on this occasion was Mr.Rohit Singh of YUVA ChetnaSangathan. He emphasized that Global climate change certainly poses scientific, technological and host of social challenges but it is also important to reflect on the topic from a very broad philosophical perspective and strive to be self-conscious about the assumptions with which we tackle these challenges.
National Seminar on "Transformative Role of Teachers in Light of NEP 2020" was organized by Research and Develpoment Committee under IQAC on 24th Oct 2024.The national seminar on NEP 2020 strive for an inclusive and equitable educational system and introduces broad based,multidisciplinary, holistic education at the higher education level through flexible, curriculum, creative subject combinations, integration of vocational education and multiple entry and exit point with appropriate certification. The purpose of the seminar was to reflect the ground realities and collective consensus on addressing how NEP 2020 will prove to be a pivotal point in term of meeting the countries inclusive developmental goals while also establishing a robust community.
Workshop on "Understanding Emotional Needs of Children" was organized by Guidance and counseling committee under IQAC on 17th Feb 2025.It was chaired by a leading psychologist from Sonipat DrRadhika. She made the faculty and students aware of how to deal with emotional needs ,stress and other social issues. She emphasized on the fact that children come into the world with certain basic emotional needs, the need to feel loved and need for the positive self esteem. Children feel respected and valued when you acknowledge their opinion, feelings and desires. She made everyone aware of the ways to handle social adjustment issues, how to do stress management and time management and even how to control mood disorder among children.
Workshop on "Road Safety" was organized by Research and Develpoment Committee under IQAC on 28th February 2025. Road safety is a critical issue that affects communities worldwide. Every year, millions of people lose their lives or suffer serious injuries due to road traffic accidents. These incidents not only cause immense personal suffering but also place a significant burden on healthcare systems and local economies. Community-based road safety awareness campaigns aim to address this pressing issue by educating residents about safe road practices, promoting responsible behavior among drivers and pedestrians, and fostering a culture of safety within the community.
