It also conducts training programs for the students to enable them to face interviews. The placement and career development cell remains in constant touch with the prospective employers to intimate their human resource requirement. On learning the requirments, a mutully agreeable date is fixed for holding interviews. During the last couple of years’ placement cell a good number of students have secured jobs in various educational institutions. Many students have been benefitted through the placement cell by means of their recommendations to various institutions. The request for the teachers is received telephonically or through personal contact. The college takes a prompt action to place its students by contacting them on phone and informing them about the place and time of interview. Number of students have benefited by Placement and Career Development Cell of the college either through campus placements or by recommending them to various institutions.

OBJECTIVES

• To encourage students to participate in various events like, workshops, conferences, seminars, etc both in and outside the college.

• To become a Placement Hub for the entire region.
• To train the students through various modules for facing interviews.

Role and Responsibilities of Placement and Career Development Cell:

• Arrange off-campus and campus recruitment process.
• Separate cell has been established with one full time faculty.
• Corporate recruitments data update.
• Keep interacting with corporate people.
• Survey on recruiters’ expectations from students.
• Feedback from employers of past batches.
• Alumni networking (Conducting Alumni meet at every year).
• Organizing training sessions on soft skill development.
• Conducting Technical Workshop for all our students.
• To invite prospective institutions/ organizations to campus for recruitment.
• To register students for the jobs with prescribed qualifications.
• To arrange for various facilities required on the date of interview.
• To collect appointment letters and distribute them to selected students.
• To achieve maximum possible placements for students.
• To guide students on various interview techniques, group discussions, aptitude tests.
