A Smart ICT Resource Centre is a cutting-edge facility designed to provide access to advanced information and communication technology (ICT) resources, tools, and services. The centre aims to facilitate learning, innovation, and digital literacy in a collaborative and supportive environment.

ICT Resource Centre plays a crucial role in enhancing teaching and learning outcomes. It provides teachers with tools to integrate audio, video, and graphic aids into their lesson plans, fostering engaging and interactive pedagogy. The use of Microsoft PowerPoint and multimedia projectors enables participatory teaching, making lectures more captivating and impactful with sound and visual effects. These methods save time, increase productivity, and modernize teaching practices, even benefiting students in remote areas.
ICT Resource Centre is a centre which is upgraded to facilitate our learners. There is an Over Head Projector and whiteboard for the teacher educators to instruct the learners. The laboratory is useful for B.Ed trainee teachers as they get to learn the digital know how and technicalities of computers and use of ICT in education. It helps trainee teachers to become competent and confident users of technology and use the basic knowledge and skills acquired in the teaching learning process. The trainees also use the laboratory for making various practicums starting from simple Power-Point to more complex ones. Our institution also uses this laboratory to organise special classes on ICT.
At Navyug College for Education, the upgraded ICT Resource Centre is equipped with Laptop, a strong LAN connection, an overhead projector, and a whiteboard. This centre supports B.Ed trainees in mastering the digital and technical aspects of modern teaching methodologies. Trainees use the lab to prepare practical assignments, from simple PowerPoint presentations to complex tasks like blog creation. The lab also hosts special classes on educational technology. Students and Faculty use ICT Resource Centre which also provides SMART Classroom facility, for teaching and demonstrations on electronic pedagogy.
These resources empower pupil-teachers to independently utilize tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and more, ensuring their competence in contemporary educational practices.
