ADMISSION PROCEDURE

The admission to B.Ed program will be made on the basis of merit of percentage of the qualifying examination through online counselling by CRSU, Jind.

ELIGIBILITY :
Candidates with atleast 50% marks either in the bachelor’s degree and/or in the Master’s degree in sciences/social science/humanity, Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. 

DISTRIBUTION OF SEATS:

Distribution of seats

The seats shall be distributed as under:

1) All India Category including Haryana : 15%
2) Bonafide Residents of Haryana : 85%

 

DIVISION OF SEATS IN B.ED. PROGRAMME

50% of the total seats in each college shall be reserved for Group-I i.e. Science & Arts with Mathsgroupcandidates. Other 50% seats shall be reserved for Group-II i.e. Arts & Commerce Group Candidates.

 

Note:

The seats which remain vacant in Group-I i.e. Science& Arts with Maths-group can be converted in Group-II i.e. Arts & Commerce Group and vice-versa. Such vacant seats of one group will be converted into same category (General or Reserved) of the other group and if still these seats remain vacant only then these will be converted into General Category.

NOTE: The above fee is subject to revision by the State Admission & Fee Committee, Haryana. In addition to the above fee, other annual charges will be as applicable as prescribed by the Chaudhary Ranbir Singh University, Jind are as under :

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

• The candidates should bring all original certificates/documents with attested copies of the testimonials at the time of admissions.
• Copies of recent photograph (passport size) to be pasted on the space provided in the application form.
• Proof of passing the qualifying examination with the required percentage of marks.
• Copy of matriculation/ 10+2(or its equivalent) showing the date of birth. Certificate of good conduct/character from the Principal of Institution last attended.
• Certificate pertaining to claim of reservation for SC, BCA/ BCB, Physical handicapped, freedom fighter and Ex-servicemen.
• Gap certificate.
• Certificate of claiming the benefit of Resident of Haryana.
• No one who is already in employment (whole time or part time or in honorary capacity) shall be admitted to the B.Ed. (regular) Course in any College of Education without taking leave from the employer for full academic session.
• The candidates must retain a photocopy and the slip which is attached at the lowermost part of the application form bearing Form No., Name of the Candidate, and Father’s Name. While marking Sr.No of OMR. application form should be mentioned.
• It will be the responsibility of the candidate to make sure of his/ her eligibility for admission before applying for the Course. If on verification at a later stage, it is found that a candidate does not fulfill the eligibility conditions, his/ her candidature will be cancelled and he/ she will have no claim whatsoever against the University/ College and the Fee deposited by him/ her is liable to be forfeited.
• In case of any ambiguity in the rule, interpretation of the same by the University shall be final.
• All legal disputes relating to admission of students to B.Ed.(Regular) Course will be subject to Courts having jurisdiction at Rohtak.
• Once a student has enrolled for the course seat will be reserved against his/her name and the student will be liable to pay the full fees for the same.

ATTENDANCE REQUIREMENT:

• Every student is expected to have a minimum of 80% attendance.
• A shortfall in this requirement will mean that the student will not be eligible to appear for the final examination.
• An exemption of attendance may be given to students involved in work assigned to them by the Institute. This will be entirely at the discretion of the concerned faculty members and in the knowledge of the principal. Students may be granted 10% attendance condo nation on Medical grounds, on production of an appropriate Medical Certificate.
• Attendance at special seminars and Guest lecturers is compulsory for the designated classes.
