Mentoring arrangements refers to structured programs or initiatives that pair students with experienced mentors, typically students under the guidance of our esteemed faculty members in their field of study. The goal is to provide guidance, support, and valuable insights to help students achieve academic, personal, and professional success. The aims of mentoring arrangements are as-

- Ensure a supportive atmosphere to develop the talents of the mentee.
Programme overview:
- Mentees shall be assigned to the mentor from the beginning of the academic session.
- Fourteen mentees shall be allotted to one mentor.
- Mentors shall identify performance in the relevant fields.
- The mentors shall keep track of the academic performance of the mentees including continuous assessment, examinations and help the mentee through counselling and remedial teaching, wherever required.
- Information regarding scholarships and grants, other competitions and events will be provided to the mentees.
- Social media may also be used for mentoring, if required.
- Mentors may assign peer tutors who are students with skills to support other students, so as to assist in the mentoring programme.
Duties of the mentor:
- Present an overview of the programme to the mentees.
- Maintain adequate records.
- Observe and assess the performance of the mentees.
- Implement effective assistance for the mentees depending on their needs.
- Maintain confidentiality wherever required.

- Be aware of the mentorship programme.
- Truthful approach towards the mentors.
- Politeness and a receptive attitude.
